8-time Mr. Olympia Lee Haney

  1. One of the all time great Supergods. He was just climbing down from Mount Olympus as I began my journey into muscle worship, but I still remember seeing him in the magazines and lusting over every inch of his huge granite physique. Not the most facially attractive guy, but the bod! The BODY! Huge, veiny, grainy, hard, rippling, vascular, MUSCLE. Thank you Marcello so much for the variety of Gods you post on here. Young, old, new guys, and classic monsters. They're all here!

  2. I have a massive soft spot for Mr Lee Haney. His very presence Marcello took me right back to my formative years where my absolute passion for muscle blossomed. This was a time when it was the monthly magazines which fuelled my addiction so i was familiar with the great bbs. I was well versed in their names and was building up a healthy collection of faourites...british, european and american. So, the images i used to use were still photographs , and even today with youtube, instagram amd so forth, a lot of my masterbation material are still 'stills'. I am attracted to the sheer 'absolute on point' intensity and one can easily understand why the photographer has selected that particular shot..everthing has come together perfectly. The full flex, the popping veins, the glint of the oiled skin and just as crucially, the absolute perfect eye contact between the muscle god and me the worshipper! However, even though i recognised Lee Haney as a terrific bb, somehow i couldnt make the connection with him. Something changed though. In 1985, I purchased my first bb VHS tape, that year's mr Olympia. Even this was a protracted affair where ihad to travel by train to my nearest big city, Leeds, find the newly opened Weider Shop, get the nerve to actually buy it, which as a doughy-middled teenager, was a nerve racking experience and then make the return journey, all the while nearly bursting with excitement. I'd chosen a good day because i was home alone all day. So to cut a long story short, i played the tape. FUCKING INCREDIBLE guys and i am not ashamed to say that i spunked within 1-2 minutes, just as the music was playing and the muscle men were strutting out to line up on stage! No matter, I still had plenty in my tank and enjoyed an amazing few hours, lusting, loving and creaming. As you know Lee was the winner that year and when i saw him take the stage and go through his routine i understood why. He was incredible, full, hard and to me an ultimate professional..what made it extra sensational was that he moved!

    1. Totally agree musclenut. I have a huge stash of 90s and early 2000s Flex magazines. Sometimes it's good to go back to basics as it were, with some alone time with the magazines. The fantasies you can create in your head when it's just you, and an intense, insane picture of one of your favourite Gods...

    2. Now then John Goode..i seem to recall that when you joined our venerable clan of muscle obbsessives, you'd moved from the UK to Berlin? What i'd like to know is whether you took your special stack of musclemags with you mate? They are obviously close to your heart (and cock) n i'd guess you could identify every spunk stain on them!. Sad to say i finally let mine go, as i've moved about. Fortunately i do often see those 'special' pics on the internet. A special set indeed was an amazing photoshoot of Nasser el Sonbaty at the gym and looking superb. What made them particularly spunk worthy was that he was wearing some sexy lace up tan boots and also sporting his geeky wire rimmed round spec..Fucking Splat!

    3. Unfortunately I didn't! There are so many of them I think my bag would have broken under the weight of enormous muscle. But every time I go home, I dig them out and have a good old spank session to the Gods of old. I actually think I know the picture of Nasser you're talking about. Great minds!

  6. Eduardo, you pulled me into this conversation.
I saw a montage on Lee Haney which made me respect him a lot for his achievements. He's a smart and sensible guy and also successful.
In terms of muscle though, for me it was always Rich Gaspari a rival that never quite toppled him off his throne. Rich hard dense muscle and excellent legs, and I believe the first to show his ripped manly glutes. Such was his intention to show how hard, shredded and full every part of him was. Fantastic!!! Along with his thick back and awesome legs made me 'hard' just looking at him. He and a few others made me 'want muscle'. Haney didn't have that effect on me (he was rather conservative in that regard). Hey Gluteos-Z and Scrotum (well known ass (male) lovers - what do you have to say?
I prefer large legs, so an 'X' frame is my favourite shape, not a Y-shaped physique like Haney's.
Haney has a terrific upper body, but his legs to me were lacking in comparison.
In the 80s you had the legendary Tom Platz, for me he is iconic. In general though I'd go with the bodybuilders of the 2000s, though there are quite a few good bodybuilders from the 80s. Tim Belknap is another big legged beast, Glenn Knerr (I think).
@Eduardo, thanks for stating your opinion. I agree with you.
@UKMuscelnut, that was a great account, I can see the effect of video over still photos, it is a whole other dimension.

    1. Thanks oceej. I remember on the same tape, Rich Gaspari posing. There is one point where he strikes the pose where the bodybuilder does a most muscular but with the arms down to their sides with the hands, palms flat to the hips..sorry forgot what its called. At a particular beat in his music Rich tenses down hard and in that moment his whole upper body..pecs, shoulders, arms, abs but also his beefy bull neck and even temples and face burst with the most incredible veining. It only lasted a second or two..so so fleeting but was absolutely incredible to witness. I would often try to time my ejaculation on that very point and if i managed to do it, I would experience the most intense orgasm! I am sure we all have experienced those particularly special moments where that connectedness is absolutely on point and can remember them vividly. So here is a thank you to another great 80s favourite of mine Rich Gaspari!

    2. UK AND OCEEJ I think the 90's was the best followed by current.the today era 2000´s are the best bigger, slightly better legs and alot more conditioned. The nineties pushed that further still until eventually reaching mass monster status.
80s were the worst decade for bodybuilding.
70's was the Golden Age of bodybuilding, filled with all those classic bodybuilders; Arnold, Lou, Serge, Zane, Olivia, etc. And the 90's IMO were the greatest era of bodybuilding ever, Dorian Yates and Ronnie Coleman dominated then, with Levrone, Wheeler, Ray, Nasser, and Priest all battling for the better Olympia placings.

  7. Ronnie KING Coleman, the greatest bodybuilder of all time.
    biglegs vs chicken legs?
I prefer powerfull big legs There have been bigger guys with bigger butts
Why are modern bodybuilders so much bigger than Arnold era?

  8. ROIDS the goal back then was to look sculpted, symmetrical, now the goal is to have as much msucle mass as possible
The main reason why modern bodybuilders are so much bigger than Arnold and his friends is that they are using a lot more steroids as well as growth hormone and insulin.

  9. I'm so pleased that big legs and glutes are now a thing. Guys from the 80s mostly looked underdeveloped in the lower body. Haney still hot though obviously!
